Hello,

My name is Andy and I like to find cool things to see, hear, and do.

I've worked with PlayStation Store to help people find their new favorite games, movies, and TV shows to play and watch by using the powers of curation and editorial story telling on a digital storefront.

I’m also a former FM radio station programmer and DJ; I still love unearthing great new music and you can find my running playlist of notable new songs of the year on the menu above. If you prefer a continuous mix, I’ll be producing some roughly hour long essential mixes with new music, perfect for walks, drives, and general vibing around the house.

If visuals are more your jam, I specialize in concert/music photography (with some travel sprinkled in too), so feel free to check out some choice shots in my photo portfolio.

Here's my story:

As a kid, I remember spending evenings listening to an alternative-rock radio station called KROQ in Southern California with a blank cassette tape at the ready because I wanted to record the best new songs so I could play them for my friends and me whenever I wanted. I didn't know this at the time, but turns out that doing this on a larger scale is actually a real job for adults.

Years later, I became the music director of an alternative rock station called WBRU in Providence, Rhode Island. My job was to program the music that went out over the airwaves. Basically, I was making a continuous mixtape for hundreds of thousands of people. That was pretty cool.

Since then, I've worked on:

  • Digital music (programming digital radio for Sony when the Walkman was trying to go digital)

  • Editorial (writing, editing, and podcasting pop culture beyond music from comics to games to movies to tech)

  • Marketing (to see what it's like on the more business-y side of things)

  • Video games (mobile and console)

Oh, and I also found some time to live in Austin for business school because that was really fun (and educational!)
